Phnom Chngok Cave & Salt Fields Tours

Phnom Chngok cave is a historical site that belongs to Nokor Phnom Era( Funan era) located in the southern Cambodia. In the middle of the huge cave in this mountain, there is a small temple made of bricks surrounded by lingam which arose naturally from limestone and the additional Yoni support was built to remark as Shiva's lingam according to Hinduism.  Amazingly the Shiva lingam was sprinkled by cold water dripping through the limestone that arose on the top  of the temple. Another interesting fact is that this temple was built in the 6century according to the research of Dr. Michael Trane a Khmer archaeologist. Beside an amazing architect of the temple the inside of Phnom Chngok hides many different cave system. To travel into each cave tourists need to bend, crawl and more slowly into the dark and narrow caves. Going through those challenging situations will fit perfectly to those who love adventures. The 1,500  years old Phnom Chngok cave is not just a potential tourist destination but also a significant historical site of Khmer Empire.
